Acne Therapy

Indications And Clinical Uses:

Severe acne vulgaris, seborrheic dermatitis, bacterial folliculitis and related conditions.

Contra-Indications:

Hypersensitivity to the sulfonamides as indicated by a previous toxic reaction to them (e.g. agranulocytosis, acute hemolytic anemia, purpura hemorrhagica, drug fever, jaundice, or contact dermatitis).

Precautions:

Sulfur may cause reddening and scaling of the epidermis, but if undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep away from eyes.DosageDosage:

Dosage And Administration:

For external use only. Keep away from eyes. Shake lotion well. Apply a small quantity with fingertips 2 or 3 times daily.

Availability And Storage:

Each mL of lotion contains: Sodium sulfacetamide 10% w/v, colloidal sulfur 5% w/v. Nonmedicinal ingredients: 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol (Bronopol), attapulgite, butylparaben, diethanolamine, hydroxyethyl cellulose, iron oxides, lauric myristic, methylparaben, naphthalene sulfonic acid, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol monolaurate, precipitated sulfur, propylene glycol, purified water, silicone emulsion, sodium chloride, sodium metabisulfite, talc, titanium dioxide, xanthan gum and zinc oxide. Bottles of 25 g with color blender.
