STERI/SOL® Warner-Lambert Consumer Healthcare Hexetidine Therapeutic Oral Rinse

Indications And Clinical Uses:

The symptomatic treatment of “strep” throat, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, gingivitis, ulcerative stomatitis, oral thrush and Vincent’s angina; postoperative hygiene following tonsillectomy, throat or oral surgery.

Precautions:

Avoid swallowing. Do not give to children under 12 years of age.

Dosage And Administration:

As a mouthwash, gargle or spray, use full strength. Apply by swab to local lesions; for buccal and pharyngeal lesions, swish in mouth and gargle for 30 seconds, using 15 mL morning and night.

Availability And Storage:

Each mL of clear, red liquid with modified mint flavor contains: hexetidine 0.1%. Nonmedicinal ingredients: alcohol, citric acid, D&C Red No. 33, FD&C Red No. 2, FD&C Yellow No. 6, flavors, polysorbate, sodium cyclamate, sorbitol and water. Alcohol: 9%. Bottles of 100, 250 and 500 mL.
