Codeine Phosphate – Phenylephrine HCl

Antitussive – Decongestant

Indications And Clinical Uses: The treatment of adults with cough associated with inflamed mucosa, which does not respond to products of lesser potency.

Dosage: Adults: 5 mL every 4 to 6 hours. Children: 6 to 12 years, one-half adult dosage; not recommended for children under 6 years.

Availability And Storage: Each 5 mL of red, raspberry flavored liquid contains: codeine phosphate 15 mg and phenylephrine HCl 20 mg. Nonmedicinal ingredients: artificial flavors (raspberry and others), citric acid, FD&C Blue No. 1, glucose, glycerin, purified water, red No. 2, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium cyclamate, sorbitol and xylitol. Alcohol- and sucrose-free. Bottles of 100 mL.
