Topical Analgesic

Indications And Clinical Uses: Analgesic rub for the temporary relief of aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with backache, lumbago, neck ache, arthritic or rheumatic pain, strains, sprains, pain of tendons and ligaments.

Contra-Indications: Salicylate hypersensitivity.

Manufacturers’ Warnings In Clinical States: For external use only. Use only as directed. Keep this and all other drugs out of the reach of children.

Precautions: If rash or irritation occurs, discontinue use. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If pain persists for more than 7 days or redness is present, consult a physician. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact the Poison Control Centre immediately. The application of external heat, such as an electric heating pad, may result in excessive skin irritation or skin burn. Protect from excessive heat or freezing.

Dosage: Apply to area of soreness with gentle massage, 3 or 4 times daily. Children (under 2 years): consult a physician.

Availability And Storage: Extra Strength: Each g contains: triethanolamine salicylate 15% w/w in a greaseless, nonstaining, odorless, vanishing cream base. Nonmedicinal ingredients: cetyl alcohol, EDTA, lavender oil, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearyl alcohol and white wax. Tubes of 50 and 100 g. Plastic tubs of 175g.

Regular: Each g contains: triethanolamine salicylate 10% w/w in a greaseless, nonstaining, odorless, vanishing cream base. Nonmedicinal ingredients: cetyl alcohol, EDTA, lavender oil, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearyl alcohol and white wax. Tubes of 100 g.

Ultra: Each g contains: triethanolamine salicylate 20 % w/w in a greaseless, nonstaining, odorless, vanishing cream base. Nonmedicinal ingredients: carbomer ultrez, EDTA, lavender oil, propylene glycol, silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide. Tubes of 50 and 100 g.
