Indications And Clinical Uses: For infants and children with an allergy or sensitivity to cow’s milk. A feeding following diarrhea. A feeding for patients with disorders for which lactose should be avoided: lactase deficiency, lactose intolerance and galactosemia.

Precautions: Shake can well before opening. Shake bottle well before feeding.

Dosage: The number of mL to be offered to the baby in 24 hours is determined by the physician for each infant. A suggested feeding schedule is available on request from the manufacturer.

Availability And Storage: Liquid, Concentrated (undiluted): Contains: water, liquid corn syrup, sucrose, soy protein isolate, high oleic sunflower oil or high oleic safflower oil, coconut oil, soy oil, modified cornstarch, minerals (calcium phosphate, potassium citrate, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, cupric sulfate, manganese sulfate, potassium iodide), mono- and diglycerides, soy lecithin, vitamins (ascorbic acid, alpha-tocopheryl acetate, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, vitamin A palmitate, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin K1 [phylloquinone], folic acid, biotin, vitamin D3, cyanocobalamin), calcium carrageenan, L-methionine, choline chloride, taurine and L-carnitine.

Liquid Ready To Feed: Contains: water, liquid corn syrup, sucrose, soy protein isolate, high oleic sunflower oil or high oleic safflower oil, coconut oil, soy oil, minerals (calcium citrate, calcium phosphate, potassium phosphate, potassium chloride, potassium citrate, magnesium chloride, ferrous sulfate, sodium chloride, copper sulfate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, potassium iodide), mono- and diglycerides, soy lecithin, vitamins (ascorbic acid, alpha-tocopheryl acetate, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, vitamin A palmitate, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin K1[phylloquinone], folic acid, biotin, vitamin D3, cyanocobalamin), calcium carrageenan, choline chloride, L-methionine, taurine and L-carnitine.

Powder: Contains: corn syrup solids, sucrose, soy protein isolate, high oleic sunflower oil or high oleic safflower oil, coconut oil, soy oil, minerals (calcium phosphate, potassium citrate, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium carbonate, ferrous sulfate, sodium chloride, zinc sulfate, cupric sulfate, potassium iodide), vitamins (ascorbic acid, alpha-tocopheryl acetate, niacinamide calcium pantothenate, vitamin A palmitate, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin K1[phylloquinone], folic acid, biotin, vitamin D3, cyanocobalamin), L-methionine, choline chloride, taurine and L-carnitine. Note: Ingredients may differ slightly between ready-to-feed, concentrate and powder presentations of Isomil. The user should consult the can label for exact composition.

Preparation and Dilution: Instructions for each form are available on the can label.

Liquid Concentrated: Cans of 385 mL, cases of 12.

Liquid Ready-to-Feed (prediluted): Cans of 235 mL, cases of 12. Cans of 945 mL, cases of 6.

Powder: Tins of 400 g, cases of 12. For hospital use: Bottles of 120 mL, cases of 48.

Store unopened liquid and powder at room temperature. Prepared bottles and opened can (covered) should be refrigerated and used within 48 hours. Opened powder should be stored in a cool, dry place (but not in refrigerator) and used within 1 month. Formula remaining in bottle after feeding should be discarded.
