Methyl Salicylate – Camphor – Menthol – Eucalyptus Oil

Topical Analgesic

Indications And Clinical Uses: External counterirritant cream for temporary pain relief of stiff and sore muscles, backache, strains, arthritic and rheumatic pain, sciatica, lumbago and bursitis.

Contra-Indications: Salicylate hypersensitivity.

Precautions: For external use only. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin and avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Discontinue use if rash or irritation occurs. If condition persists for more than 7 days, consult physician. Do not bandage after application and avoid external sources of heat such as heating pads. Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates or are taking anticoagulant medications. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool place.

Dosage: Adults and Children over 2 years of age: Massage into affected area until completely absorbed, not more than 3 or 4 times daily.

Availability And Storage: Regular Strength: Each g contains: methyl salicylate 12.5%, camphor 1%, menthol 0.75% and eucalyptus oil 0.5% w/w. Nonmedicinal ingredients: anhydrous lanolin, beeswax, glycerin, isobornyl acetate, light mineral oil, paraffin, propylene glycol stearate, salicylic acid, trolamine, stearic acid, water and white petrolatum. Tubes of 50 and 100 g. Jars of 450 g.

Extra Strength: Each g contains: methyl salicylate 18%, camphor 1%, menthol 0.75% and eucalyptus oil 0.5% w/w. Nonmedicinal ingredients: anhydrous lanolin, beeswax, glycerin, isobornyl acetate, light mineral oil, paraffin, propylene glycol stearate, salicylic acid, trolamine, stearic acid, water and white petrolatum. Tubes of 100 g. Jars of 160 g.
