Action and Clinical
The topical use of benzoyl peroxide provides therapeutic control of acne through drying and desquamative action as well as antibacterial activity.
Indications And Clinical Uses :

Patients with a known sensitivity to benzoyl peroxide or any of the components should not use this medication.:
Precautions:
For external use only. Do not permit product to come in contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Very fair individuals should always be started with a single application. Benzoyl peroxide may bleach colored fabrics.DosageDosage:
Dosage And Administration:
Wash thoroughly with a non-medicated soap such as Acne-Aid and water. Apply once or twice daily to affected areas or according to the instructions of a physician.
Availability And Storage:
Each g of gel contains: benzoyl peroxide 4% (Solugel 4), or 8% (Solugel 8) in a unique patented hydrophase gel base. Nonmedicinal ingredients: cetyl alcohol, dimethyl isosorbide, fragrance X-23304 ungerer, promulgen G, purified water and simethicone. Tubes of 45 g. Store below 27°C.
