Indications And Clinical Uses: Symptomatic relief of heartburn, indigestion and upset stomach due to excess acid, and relief of gas with Riopan Plus.

Precautions: Individuals with kidney disease should not take this product except with the advice and supervision of a physician. Do not take with tetracycline antibiotics. Antacids can interfere with the absorption of iron preparations. Do not take for longer than 2 weeks or if symptoms recur, unless otherwise directed by a physician.

Adverse Reactions: Mild constipation may occur in a small percentage of patients.

Dosage And Administration: Riopan: Suspension: Adults: 5 to 20 mL, 20 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician.

Chewable Tablets: Adults: 1 to 4 tablets, 20 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician. Chew well before swallowing.

Riopan Plus: 10 to 20 mL, 20 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician.

Riopan Plus: Each 5 mL of mint-flavored suspension contains: magaldrate USP 480 mg and simethicone 20 mg. Energy: 0.0 kcal. Sodium:
Store at room temperature (15 to 30°C).
