Indications And Clinical Uses: Dietary supplement in pregnancy; provides nutritional insurance against the common dietary deficiencies of pregnancy and postpartum.

Precautions: Mild gastrointestinal upset may occur in iron-sensitive patients. The formulation is contraindicated in hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis and hemolytic anemia. Folic acid may obscure pernicious anemia in that the peripheral blood picture may return to normal while neurological manifestations remain progressive. tag_DosageDosage

Dosage: One tablet daily, or as prescribed.

Availability And Storage: Each pink, biconvex, film-coated tablet contains: elemental iron 60 mg (as ferrous sulfate 163 mg), elemental calcium 125 mg (as calcium carbonate 312 mg), elemental zinc 20 mg (as zinc sulfate 49.4 mg), vitamin A acetate 1 600 IU, vitamin D (D3) 200 IU, vitamin C 50 mg, vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate) 0.75 mg, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) 9 mg, riboflavin 1 mg, niacinamide 6 mg, folic acid 0.8 mg. Nonmedicinal ingredients: FD&C red #3, hydrogenated vegetable oil (may contain oil derived from peanut), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose and titanium dioxide.
