Indications And Clinical Uses: For the treatment and prevention of infection in minor cuts, wounds and burns. tag_WarningWarnings

Manufacturers' Warnings In Clinical States: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, wash thoroughly with water. Use should be discontinued if condition worsens. No refrigeration required.

Precautions: Discontinue if sensitization occurs. Prolonged use may result in the overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms, particularly monilia. If this occurs, discontinue therapy and institute appropriate measures. tag_DosageDosage

Dosage: Clean affected area, then apply liberally one or more times daily to injured skin surface and cover with a dry, sterile, surgical gauze dressing.

Availability And Storage: Each g of topical ointment contains: bacitracin 500 IU. Nonmedicinal ingredients: mineral oil, white petrolatum and wool fat. Paraben-free. Tubes of 7.5, 15 and 25 g.
